A Song of Remorse

With the music sounding here in this solemn room My heart is singing of remorse to you She is hurt from the past wrong that came from her passion That aims so strongly for the love For the love so tender and pure so wholesome and complete She strives as she's hurt in regards to the past expression That she allowed to be uttered in silence Not realizing how it would appear at that moment Not realizing that it would appear as sinful That appearance was but was not what she intended As a tear now rolls from her cheek a tear of regret She never meant no she never meant For a deeming judgment to make it's way to your ear But rather intended for the love to be heard in truth As she now sings of remorse to you Pleading for your forgiveness and merciful pardon For the judgment that she uttered into the canal of your ear From my mouth From my mouth so eager
